SilentMode’s Best and Worst Collectible Minifigures of All Time

Series 6

Series_6

Originally I had the Sleepyhead and Classic Alien tied as the best minifigure in Series 6, but this post requires me to pick just one. In the end I gave the edge to the Sleepyhead, because it’s a minifigure that can fit just about anywhere. It embodies what LEGO is all about – imagination, creativity and youthfulness –  without having to have the logo emblazoned all over it. That’s not even considering the fact it comes with a minifigure-sized teddy bear and a (new at the time) spiky hairpiece. All that’s missing is for LEGO to produce a little girl variant, perhaps with a rag doll.

As for the Minotaur, which is easily the worst – or rather least favourite – minifigure in the series: I don’t know about you, but unless I have it up close and personal, it’s difficult to make out the head! I admire the technique used to create the figure, but the best thing about the Minotaur is that it’s very easy to identify (and avoid) using the “feel” method.
