This may be a premature and opportunistic post, given there hasn’t been an official announcement – but just yesterday over in the Brickset forums, the news was dropped about this year’s instalment of The LEGO Show – which this time is being held in London!
Brief details of the event are shown on the web site for the O2, where bricks are going to go down.
If all this is true, then this is fantastic news. The LEGO Show was greatly missed in 2013, not just by me but by many others, and I would argue that both previous ones were the event of the year…
…but it also means I have less than three months to prepare an exhibit, assuming I’m going to be exhibiting! There has already been a lot to do over the last month, and I’ve had a lack of sleep and quite a bit of stress to contend with, to the point where I was nearly out of it while writing the Sunshine Ranch review. I would really like to have a whole new setup ready for the event, but it’s likely I’ll simply have some of my older models on display (if I display).
More about this interesting turn of events as it happens.
