Interesting parts

Making an exclusive appearance is a part you can’t fail to notice: the raft in Medium Lavender. Other exclusive versions are in Dark Blue (8635 Mission 6: Mobile Command Center) and Dark Pink (5841 Beach Fun), if you’re thinking of starting a collection.

If you’re interested in the Dark Orange slopes: the 1×2 slopes are another resurrected part from 2004/5, and are also available in 70810 MetalBeard’s Sea Cow, though that set only has two of them; the 2x2x2 slopes are in three other sets, including Jungle Tree Sanctuary.

The Lime 1×2 cheese slopes are fairly recent, appearing in nine other sets so far; this is its first appearance in a Friends set.

Nurse Andrea

Sporting a more colourful and eye-catching outfit, Andrea makes her second appearance in this wave. She may not be as visually appealing as Stephanie in her sweaty white shirt, but unlike Stephanie she has a completely unique outfit: she’s currently the only minidoll to have Tan shorts.

You can choose to have Andrea wear the nurse’s hat from the accessories pack, but in the instructions she’s pictured with the Bright Light Orange bow. Yes, the ribbon of ambiguity.

This is the chameleon’s second appearance, having also been seen in Jungle Falls Rescue.

Power raft

Making use of a few Lime and White parts, the ordinary Medium Lavender raft is turned into a high-speed animal rescuing machine, complete with binoculars.

Rescue Base – tree base

The Medium Azure 16×16 plate does a good job of blending in with the background to create water, while we build on top of it to establish ground.

The hollowed tree trunk is quickly built up using those Dark Orange slopes and some Reddish Brown bricks, palisade or otherwise. A Green frog pops up to say hello.

A very minuscule selection – compared to the previous bags – is left over, and we can’t wait to finish building the rest of the tree!
