The box is too big for my current studio setup, but here’s the front of it in all its glory. Once again little Timmy is at the centre of some strange goings-on in his neck of the woods, as people from the police force and fire brigade – and inexplicably an astronaut – came to play.
Rather cheekily, but unsurprisingly, the back of the box makes a few expensive suggestions for additional LEGO gifts – so much so that the advent calendar is relegated to just over half of the space.
Father Christmas – or Santa, as many of our fellow sellouts prefer – provides the scale reference. We can also see that he’s virtually the same as Santa from S7 of the Collectible Minifigures!
Like the other advent calendars, the box has a flap that opens out to create scenery for all the builds, as well as revealing the numbered sections.
It was at this point I decided to do away with the studio and go old school, using my desk as the backdrop. Anyone who doesn’t like it can go make a list and check it twice.
