Miniature Scrabble® (2017)
A miniature LEGO version of Scrabble, realised with the help of custom-printed tiles.
Having owned a few versions of Scrabble (with the 2021 Travel version being the best), somewhere along the line I decided to create a LEGO version.
The biggest challenge in designing the Creation was with the odd board dimensions, which was made easier with the introduction of the 3×3 plate. The existence of Dark Azure and Light Aqua 1×1 plates ensured the colours would be faithful to the original board game.
This version of Scrabble is entirely impractical to play with, solely because of the tiles' clutch power… but it looks good.
Did you know..?
Although Scrabble is probably my favourite board game, I refuse to play it anymore. It's virtually impossible to find someone who won't cheat, including computer opponents.
